NTA - a Dutch language program made to measure!
Lessons take place at Cults Primary School, where we have a class area within the Blue Unit of this 'open plan' school.
During school hours it is possible to follow NTC lessons. In close collaboration with the Scottish class teachers, pupils get 3 hours of Dutch mother tongue education a week. The lessons are aimed at re-entry of pupils into the Dutch educational system.
Only Cults Primary pupils are able to follow these lessons and families need to live in the catchment area of the school. For information about Cults Primary School contact: http://www.cultsprimary.aberdeen.sch.uk
After school hours, we welcome a considerable amount of children into the Nederlandse club. This is on a Tuesday afternoon and lasts 1 hour at the International School Aberdeen http://www.isa.aberdeen.sch.uk/.
From far and wide pupils join this club. The social aspect of the club is very important. We celebrate in style everything Dutch: Sinterklaas, birthdays, king’s birthday, just to name a few.
At least one parent should be a native Dutch speaker.
